About Us

Our story begins in 1895, when A.R. Williams Machinery Ltd. was incorporated in Ontario. We began as a distributor of machine tools and related supplies. In July of 1942, the company expanded west to Alberta.

As we continued to grow, we created three focused dealership groups to serve the specific needs of distinct markets: materials handling, light construction, and truck mounted equipment.

In July 1997, A.R. Williams Materials Handling combined its Truck Equipment division with Atlas Polar’s distribution network to create A.R. Williams Truck Equipment. We now proudly sell and service leading brands, including HIAB truck cranes, Moffett truck-mounted forklifts, and Multilift hooklifts.

Since our company was first founded, we have been driven by one goal: providing excellent customer service. Building on our long–term customer relationships, our team has developed a reputation as an industry leader in product quality and attention to customer needs.
